Common Reasons for Hair Fall and Natural Solutions: Causes, Tips & Hair Care

Common Reasons For Hairfall And Natural Solutions

Many people today face various hair problems like increased hair loss, early graying, thinning, or dullness. This is understandable. Changes in diet, rising pollution, poor sleep, and ongoing stress all affect the body. Often, the first signs appear in your hair. However, when dealing with hair concerns, a common mistake is to treat all problems the same way. Because, hair loss and hair thinning are not just the same things.

Hair loss is when hair strands actively fall from your scalp. You might see them on your pillow, in the shower, or on your comb. Some hair loss is normal, but excessive shedding indicates that your hair roots are not strong or well-nourished. Hair thinning, on the other hand, doesn’t always involve visible shedding. Instead, individual hair strands become finer and weaker. You might notice your hair lacks volume, or your scalp becomes more visible, even if a lot of hair isn’t falling out. Understanding this difference is crucial because each condition has different causes and requires a different approach. So let’s discuss some unique and general hair care tips.

Let’s do a quick hair test today. Put your hand in your hair, close all your fingers, and then pull your hand out. Now, look at your hand and see how many hairs have fallen out.

If there are no hairs on your hand, it means your hair is very strong. If you have one or two hairs, it suggests you might be starting to experience a small hair fall problem. If three to four hairs have fallen out, it clearly indicates you have a significant hair fall issue. Now, the question is, can this hair fall problem be stopped quickly? The answer is yes.

Now, let’s talk about the solution. To understand the solution, you need to understand its reasons, which means you need to understand the science behind hair fall. Here are basically four reasons why your hair starts to fall out.

The first and most prominent reason is genetics. ‘People often think their hair will be like their parents’. However, a recent research study shocked everyone. It found that only 20% of hair condition is influenced by your parents’ hair; 80% is determined by your own lifestyle.

The second reason is your hormones. You might have noticed that your hair sometimes starts falling out a lot for a few days. Have you ever noticed how much your hair falls out when exams are approaching? Why does this happen? Because at that time, your body’s hormones react in strange ways, causing hair fall.

Another very crucial reason is Dandruff. Dandruff is considered the reason for 80% of hair fall, especially in India. Many people experience hair fall due to dandruff, and this is a very big problem.

This brings us to our second reason: Lifestyle. How you eat and how you live your life will decide the condition of your hair. Changing lifestyle also decides our hair growth. As you know, 80% of your hair growth depends on how you live your life. What kind of life are you living? What are you eating? What kind of lifestyle do you have? There’s a simple reason behind this. Your hair is made of keratin. Keratin is formed from protein. And where do you get protein? From your food, from your diet. If you don’t get protein and iron in your diet, keratin will not form in our body.

And if keratin isn’t formed, there will be no hair growth. If you eat well, keratin will form, and if keratin forms, hair growth will happen. People usually think that using expensive products will lead to hair growth, but in reality, it’s all about diet.

Now, let’s move to our last and final reason, which is stress. An interesting research was done on two people who were both experiencing hair loss. They both went to a doctor. The doctor told one person, “Look, you’re not losing much hair; don’t worry.” And to the other person, he said, “Oh, you’re losing a lot of hair; you should worry.” Do you know what happened? After a month, the person who was told not to worry automatically experienced less hair fall, without using any products. Whereas the person who was told to worry about their severe hair loss experienced even more hair fall. This showed that the more stress you take, the more hair fall you will experience.

We have natural solutions that we can use for preventing hair loss-

If you have any of these causes, start by correcting them through lifestyle changes. This includes eating nutritious meals, sleeping well, and reducing stress. After that, you can try this mineral-rich tonic to support hair from within. You will need:

• Half a cup of fresh beetroot juice

• One teaspoon of black sesame seeds

• A small piece of jaggery

Blend all these ingredients and drink it on an empty stomach. This drink helps with iron absorption, improves blood circulation to the scalp, and naturally strengthens hair roots.

If you have a good diet, what should you include? Almonds. If you eat non-vegetarian food, you can have that. You can eat eggs. All these things are rich in protein and iron. If you consume these, your hair growth will automatically improve.

Now, let’s discuss the solutions for each of these above reasons that cause hair fall. There are four simple daily steps.

The first step is cleaning. You need to keep your hair clean. How do you do that? It’s simple. Because your hair gets a lot of dirt and dust from going outside, you just need to use shampoo. Remember, don’t use soap; use shampoo, and specifically, a shampoo that is sulfate-free. Just wash your hair with a normal shampoo once every two to three days, and that will be enough.

The second step is massage. As we know, the scalp is very important. Now you need to massage your scalp. How can you do this? You can use oil, or you can do it without oil. If your skin is very oily, there’s no need to use oil; just massage without it, and it will still work fine. When you massage your scalp, all the dirt particles will fall off.

Your third step is repair. When you wash your hair with shampoo, the shampoo removes dirt, but it also strips away many good substances that your hair needs. You need to put those back. How do you do that? With conditioner. Buy a normal conditioner, any one you can find, and use it every time after you shampoo. The conditioner will return all those essential substances to your hair, preventing damage.

The last and final step is water. Science says that the more water you drink, the more your hair will grow. If you don’t drink enough water, your hair growth will never be good. This is what science says. Also, whenever you wash your hair, try to use cold water. Washing with hot water can lead to problems like dandruff. So, this is your hair care routine, just four simple steps.

If you have a good diet, what should you include? Almonds. If you eat non-vegetarian food, you can have that. You can eat eggs. All these things are rich in protein and iron. If you consume these, your hair growth will automatically improve.

Today, we are stuck in a loop. You are losing hair, and you are stressed about it. Because you are stressed, you are losing more hair. You are caught in this cycle today. We often think, “Oh, my hair is falling out; what will happen?” You take stress, and your hair starts falling out even more. This is the biggest problem that people neglect and ignore: stress. Reduce your stress. If you reduce stress in your life, if you stop thinking, “Okay, my hair is falling out, no problem,” if you reduce stress, you will see that your hair will automatically start to get better in some time.

Hair will come back, so you don’t need to worry so much about it. Healthy hair needs a healthy diet, and a healthy mind, so stay focused on keeping growing in life rather than worrying about the losses.
